Tonia is a certified Online Tutor and has completed the required background check for interacting with minors, maintained a 5-star client rating on Varsity Tutors, and has experience working with individuals as well as groups of varying ages. Her most popular classes with VT included Drawing Portraits & People and Adventures in Art, and now she tutors enrichment subjects related to fine art/painting/drawing, basic Photoshop use, creative writing, art foundations, and craft projects.
Tonia is also a certified Art Therapy Practitioner and uses a humanistic approach to guide clients through the process of self-actualization, valuing the inherent worth and unique experiences of every individual and promoting the emotional freedom and positive self-esteem that come through creating healing art. Anyone can participate as it is not about the aesthetic of the end product, but the creative process.

Paint parties are a fun option for all sorts of groups and can be considered a type of therapeutic art. They typically last 2-3 hours plus time for set-up/clean-up. Tonia will travel up to approximately one hour from Rio Vista CA to instruct your guests and will provide all artistic necessities (easels, canvases, acrylic paints, brushes, palettes, water cups, paper towels, and table coverings) for a per-person fee which covers the cost of supplies, coaching, and travel. Enjoy parties at your home, workplace, outdoors, or elsewhere and choose from over 100 easy-to-paint designs for an afternoon or evening of artistic fun.
