​​​After surviving an abusive childhood/its effects and working with many overcomers, Tonia knew her story needed to be shared. She consequently authored a trilogy of memoirs detailing the lasting effects of abuse with the aim of inspiring and encouraging others to heal and grow from surviving to thriving.
After experiencing an abusive marriage, taking multiple training courses, speaking with experts, attending support groups, reading many books, and doing extensive research to educate herself and work on her own growth, Tonia also authored an empowering self-care curriculum on Healthy Boundaries, which she currently teaches online.
